Founder & Executive Director:Cindy Meyers Jurow, LCSW

In 1986 she formed Counseling in Schools, a not-for-profit organization, which has flourished since its inception. For the past twenty-two years, Cindy's devotion has built an organization which prides itself on sound professional standards as well as constructive human relationships. Through connection and support, CSNN works to instill hope, resilience and permanent change. On these principles many children, families, and school personnel have been helped to reach their true potential.
Assistant Executive Director:Kevin Dahill-Fuchel, LCSW

Having worked for three years as Director of Programs for CSNN, Kevin was promoted to Assistant Executive Director in September 2007. In this capacity, Kevin continues to design and implement programs, while remaining fully focused on expanding the reach of CSNN social services to an increasing number of children and families.
Kevin’s outstanding work as a Social Worker has been acknowledged through receipt of the Massachusetts Commonwealth Award, the West Side Chamber of Commerce Award, and Hunter College’s Jacob Goldfiend Award.
Program Director:Jeanne Glassman Clair, LCSW-R

In 1998, Jeanne joined CSNN to co-pilot a program at William H. Maxwell High School in East New York, Brooklyn, where she provided direct service to students and families. She introduced a successful creative arts component including: yoga, drumming, drama, and art. In 2001 and 2002 Jeanne provided direct service, and supervision, to many individuals suffering from the traumatic aftermath of 9/11 through Project Liberty.
As Program Director for CSNN Jeanne oversees the clinical staff, new program design, professional development, and daily operations as well as our Crisis Response Program, providing crisis training to participants of the New York City School District Crisis Response Teams.
Clinical Director:Carol Lerner, LCSW, LP

Simultaneously, Carol's career grew and expanded. She became Assistant Clinical Director at the mental health clinic working side by side with Cindy Jurow, Executive Director of CSNN. She continued her commitment to enhance life functioning, and became a leader in the ongoing training of social work interns, leading to a senior supervisory role in managing ongoing training programs. In addition, her skills and expertise are used in the professional development of guidance counselors, social workers and teachers working in the public school system.
Today, Carol continues her dedication to the betterment of children and families. Her current position with Counseling In Schools as Clinical Director provides the perfect venue to pursue her goals of promoting education and well being.
