One of the biggest moments that CIS looks forward to each year is coming together with our students, their families, and our school communities for graduation. A-Tech High School concluded the year with an impressive 94% attendance rate, celebrating the commencement of 90 graduates embarking on their college journeys across the nation. The class of 2024 holds special significance, as its members were freshmen when the pandemic brought the world to a standstill. Now, they stand poised to forge brighter futures. The graduation ceremony was notably momentous for CIS, as Dr. Elisa English, CPO, orchestrated the introduction of the Keynote Speaker, Wallo. An accomplished entrepreneur with diverse ventures, Wallo is renowned as a social influencer, activist, and three-time TEDx speaker, profoundly impacting audiences worldwide. He co-hosts the widely acclaimed Barstool Sports podcast “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” with his cousin, the rapper Gillie Da Kid, culminating in a groundbreaking $100 million content creation deal.
Additionally, Wallo serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of REFORM Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to reforming probation and parole systems. This mission holds particular significance for Wallo, who endured 25 years within the prison industrial complex and tragically lost his brother to gun violence. Congratulations to the A-Tech class of 2024, and commendations to Wallo for his unwavering dedication to inspiring young individuals of color globally.
